Hi, I’m Sandra. 🖤

I’m a female empowerment photographer based in Milford, Co. Cork, and if you’re reading this, I already have a feeling you’re exactly who I created this space for.

I didn’t build Boldly Her Photography to take pretty pictures.

I built it because I know what it feels like to look in the mirror and not quite recognise the woman looking back. To move through life pouring yourself into everyone and everything — your relationships, your work, your family — and forget, somewhere along the way, to pour something back into yourself.

I built it for the woman who has survived something hard and come out the other side not quite knowing how to celebrate that yet.

For the woman whose body is doing something extraordinary — growing a life, healing, changing, aging — and who has been told in a thousand quiet ways that it is less worthy of being seen.

For the woman who just turned 40, or 50, or 60 and thought — why has nobody ever made me feel this stunning before?

I see you. I photograph you. And I will show you what I see.

My sessions are about far more than the final images, though those will take your breath away. They are about the experience of being witnessed. Of being celebrated. Of standing in a room and being told — with light, and care, and a camera — that you are worth this.

My studio in Milford, Cork is a safe, warm, and fiercely private space. Whether you come alone, with a friend, or as a bride-to-be surrounded by your girls — you will be looked after from the moment you arrive to the moment you hold your finished gallery in your hands.

I believe every woman has a version of herself she hasn’t fully met yet.
